This is an entry-level opportunity for a talented, outgoing, and driven Mechanical Engineer with 0-4 years of experience. Job duties to include managing of engineering projects and providing engineering services for the commercial, industrial, and offshore customers. Additional work includes developing customer relations, performing business operations, and providing business growth.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Perform mechanical design calculations
- Perform computer-based Heat Load Calculations.
- Specify equipment requirements.
- Performs AutoCAD drawings and plan reviews.
- Perform on-site testing and balancing work.
- Perform field work, mechanical surveys, and building surveys.
- Directly interface with clients, vendors, contractors
- Assisting in on-site certified building commissioning work.
- Prepare technical reports and specifications.
- Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Ability to climb ladders
- Moderate lifting (up to 90 pounds)
- Complete pre-employment drug test and background check process
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work independently and self-schedule
- Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
- Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision
- Local, over-night, offshore travel required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in the office 75% of the time at the Mandeville, LA office and 25% of the time in the field.
- Travel to job sites is required where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
- Some offshore and land based overnight travel will be required
- Must be able to work necessary shifts plus travel time, if required
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive company vehicle
