The Program
Mallinckrodt is offering an 11-week internship program, which provides an immersive experience in the world of pharmaceuticals. As an MNK Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful work that compliments the degree you are pursuing. Here, you will be able to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to a corporate environment. In addition, our internship program is designed to include networking opportunities across the company, professional development workshops, and community service.

Summary of Position
The Technical Operations Intern will work with a current Project Manager to support the execution of capital projects for the Raleigh site.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager in day-to-day activities to prepare new project(s) for approval and/or existing project(s) for implementation.
- Develop specifications for new process equipment
- Obtain quotes from vendors on equipment/instrumentation and installation.
- Developing project execution schedules and spending forecasts.
Minimum Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of college level coursework in Chemical Engineering or related field from an accredited university program.
Relationship with Others/Scope of Position
- Reports to the Lead Project Engineer with the potential to work on specific assignments from other Project Managers.
- Will have regularly scheduled meetings with the Technical Operations Manager to provide mentoring and feedback on the Intern’s overall performance.
- Frequent contact with other site departments to gather information and concurrence on project details.
- Will be a mix of in-office and field work in the PAP/APAP/WWTP/Utilities plants.
