McKelvey Engineering Virtual Meet-Up Draws 20+ Companies

The McKelvey Engineering Virtual Meet-up was held in partnership with the WashU Career Center on Friday, February 26th from 1:00-2:30 p.m. to foster career connections between engineering students and companies. Over 20 engineering and consulting firms attended representing start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Students heard from alums and industry professional from a cross section of industries about their internship, co-op, and post-grad hiring needs.  Each company provided an enticing 1-2 minute “pitch” about their company and the skills they seek.  Some had immediate hiring needs, others were generating awareness about their company and future opportunities, but each company provided insights into their roles, processes, and timelines.  Following the pitches, students joined small group sessions with companies for Q&A and deeper discussions. The event was open to all students whether they were actively looking for a position or just wanting to network and explore careers and companies.

In case you missed it, you can watch the recording below. Companies present their pitches in alphabetical order.
