The NOUS Imaging quality engineer role has three key responsibilities: first line customer support, verification support of research and development outputs and validation support of production software. This role should have some software development experience and can be a stepping-stone to a software engineering position.
The successful quality engineer must have a technical background in IT or software to be equipped to gather information on field issues, interact with sophisticated users, reproduce and solution customer problems and act as the liaison between development engineers and the user. This may include reaching into the code to diagnose and solution problems.
The ideal quality engineer will have strong written and verbal communication skills to be equipped to author processes and procedures in a regulated medical environment. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate attention to detail and critical thinking.
You will work in a dynamic virtual environment with a high energy group of dedicated engineers, scientists, and clinicians to lead this effort to develop a new-to-the-world solution based on the research application known as FIRMM (Framewise Integrated Real-Time MRI Monitoring). Team members are based in St. Louis Missouri, Portland Oregon, and on the US East Coast. Nous Imaging is based in the St. Louis Cortex district with an office in the CIC.
This is a full-time position.
