• Develop parameters for faster, more cost efficient and more reliable DED and SLM processes.
• Qualify materials and processes for metal additive manufacturing, including post processing (e.g. heat treatment).
• Analyze material properties in metallurgical laboratory.
• Identify material trends and evaluate innovative materials for technology advancement.
• Consult customers on selection of materials in accordance with part and process requirements.
• Support customer turn-key projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate research partnerships and metallurgical supply chain.
• Develop training materials and execute customer trainings on process development.
• Support sales meetings, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Other duties as assigned.
